I am an AHPRA registered Chinese Medicine practitioner, specialising in Chinese and Japanese “Acupuncture” and “Moxibustion” modalities.
I hold a doctoral degree (PhD) and have undergone post-doctoral training in Western medical science, researching fascinating ways our immune system combats disease. Today, my research focuses on congenital neuromuscular conditions. I discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine during my Yoga studies/apprenticeship in 2016. Experiencing its powerful effects blew my mind– all of a sudden, I found a tangible, personalised, holistic, ancient and effective medical modality that I could not structure into my existing knowledge. So, the desire to learn more germinated in my curious mind, and I dedicated myself to lifelong learning and practising oriental medicine. I completed my Master of applied science (Acupuncture) at RMIT (2021) and integrated (Kiyoshi) Nagano Sensei’s Japanese acupuncture style as well as traditional Japanese moxibustion therapy into my practice. Also, I am a proud member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and (Tsuyoshi) Shimamura Sensei’s student group.
I’m dedicated to working alongside my patients to identify their health objectives and devise personalised treatment plans that meet their needs. Helping my patients is my utmost passion, and I believe Traditional Japanese and Chinese medicine modalities are an essential part of health- and self-care with a broad range of benefits for everyone. So, I welcome you to experience the transformative power of acupuncture and moxibustion, and I look forward to assisting you on your health and wellness journey.
